We have always loved grilling and smoking meat. In 2012 we were asked to cook for about 300 students and counselors. We did this for the next 9 years. Every year we were asked to cook a total of 70 or more pork butts throughout the year for various events. And so this started our passion for spices.

2024 was an eye-opener for myself, in August our family lost our father to cancer. At the end of August, we had a celebration of life for him. It was an awesome experience, so much love and support from total strangers. I cooked the meat for the celebration. After we had come back to Missouri, is when I received phone calls and text messages about the seasoning that was used.

I was encouraged by several family members and friends that we should start selling the seasoning. So the Journey has begun.
